Dr Abuobieda Attalla MRCPsych, DPM
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Attalla is a Consultant Psychiatrist doctor who specialises in mental health problems and is trained to deal with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. He, also, provides emergency consultation.
Having worked previously at a consultant grade in the NHS for four years, Dr Attalla also has experience as a consultant in Ireland and in the Middleast. His training includes the Middle East, Ireland and England, where he obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Autumn 2004. He was also appointed as Assistant Professor(lecturer) and is on the Specialist Register with the GMC the governing body for medicine.
Dr Attalla is bilingual, speaking both English and Arabic and he is fully acquainted with middle eastern and western culture. He belongs to the following professional organisations: The Royal College of Psychiatrists, London, The American Psychiatrists Association, APA and belonged to The British Association of Psychopharmacology in 2003-2005 and The British Association of Neuroscience in 2003-2004.
