As a psychoanalytical psychotherapist, Annis works on the basic principle that your past can have an effect on your present and also your future. The therapy is a working relationship, where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings over an agreed period of time, with the aim of enhancing the client's lives.

Annis provides counselling and psychotherapy in a secure and confidential environment. Prior to re-training as a psychotherapist she worked as an occupational therapist within the mental health sector of the NHS. Since re-training she has provided, and still provides, counselling and therapy for clients referred to her via the mental health charity Mind and the Government’s Sure Start Project.

Working within these different sectors has provided Annis with a wide breadth of knowledge and experience of treating many different issues within the therapy space.
